Say Aloha to Impact Tuna Poke in Hawaii

We’ve got some exciting news to share—Impact Food has officially launched in Hawaii! Our plant-based tuna is now being served at the Sakura Lounge in the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu, thanks to our collaboration with Japan Airlines (JAL). This marks a major milestone for us as we expand our presence in the islands.

Protein-packed plant-based poké in Sakura Lounge

Travelers passing through the Sakura Lounge can now enjoy a delicious, protein-packed poké made with our plant-based tuna—the only raw "fish" option available in the lounge. The poké dish includes three forms of plant-based protein: tofu, edamame, and Impact Tuna, and it includes onions, poke sauce, and is served on Japanese rice.

The Sakura Lounge, which is shared by JAL and American Airlines, offers our Impact Tuna throughout the day, giving passengers a tasty and eco-friendly alternative to traditional bluefin tuna.

This collaboration is especially meaningful to us, given Hawaii’s deep connection to ocean conservation and the cultural significance of poké. Our mission is to offer sustainable food options that protect the environment while honoring local culinary traditions.

We’re also thrilled for vegans, vegetarians, and non-fish-eaters who can now dive into this Hawaiian favorite. And since Impact Tuna is the only "fish" option in the lounge, we’re excited for even the most dedicated fish lovers to have their palates pleasantly surprised!

If you're flying through Honolulu, don’t miss the chance to stop by the Sakura Lounge and try our Impact Tuna poké!
